Privacy policy
This policy explains what McGuinness Joinery does with the personal information you give us through this website. It was last updated on 18 October 2026.
Who we are
McGuinness Joinery is a joinery business based in Moreton, Wirral. For any question about your data, send us a message through the contact form, or call 07377 405519.
What we collect
Only what you put into the enquiry form: your name, phone number, and, if you choose to give them, your postcode, the service you need, your company and site details, your description of the job and any photographs or drawings you attach. We do not ask for anything else and we do not buy data about you from anyone.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and give you a price. That is the only reason. The lawful basis is legitimate interest: you contacted us asking for a quote and we need your details to give you one.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your details to anyone.
- We do not pass them to other trades or to marketing companies.
- We do not add you to a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. Where we have carried out work for you we keep the job record for six years, because that is how long it may be needed for tax and warranty purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, send us a message through the contact form, or call 07377 405519, and we will deal with it within one month. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
